About Everybody Draws

Everybody draws.

Not because everyone is an artist —

but because everyone already sees.

This site is about reconnecting those two things.

Why this exists

I didn’t build this to teach “how to draw perfectly.”

I built it because I’ve always noticed something:

Most people don’t struggle with drawing.

They struggle with seeing clearly.

They draw what they think something looks like,

instead of what’s actually in front of them.

And once that habit sets in, drawing becomes frustrating.

So instead of teaching technique first,

I wanted to create something simpler.

A way to slow down, look properly, and let drawing follow naturally.

How this is different

This isn’t a traditional drawing site.

There are no complex tutorials.

No pressure to produce polished work.

No expectation to be “good.”

Instead, this is a place to:

  • observe simple objects
  • repeat the same subject from different angles
  • notice small changes
  • and build confidence through clarity

The exercises are intentionally simple.

Because simplicity removes pressure.

And when pressure is gone, learning happens faster.

Where to start

If you’re new here, start with one exercise:

👉 The 20 Cup Drawing Exercise

It’s simple, repeatable, and surprisingly powerful.

You don’t need special tools.

You don’t need experience.

You just need a cup, a pen (physical or digital), and a bit of patience.

About me

I’ve always been able to draw.

But more than that, I’ve always been interested in how people see.

Over time, I realised that drawing well wasn’t about talent —

it was about noticing things most people overlook.

This site is my way of sharing that.

Not as a formal course.

Not as a polished system.

But as something you can actually use.

A small note

You might notice this site feels a bit different.

It’s quiet. It is quite simple. And it doesn’t try too hard.

That’s intentional.

Because learning to see clearly doesn’t need noise.

Final thought

You don’t improve by drawing more things.

You improve by seeing one thing more clearly.

That’s all we’re doing here.
